The QmixElements start screen helps new users get acquainted with the software and working with the program. Large symbols, a clear layout and short explanatory tips make it easy to take the first step with this new software and learn about device configuration, without consulting the manual. The supplied demo configuration lets you test all of the features in a simulated environment and without genuine device drivers.

Alternatively, you can use the datalogger plugin to record all process data in CSV-files. These CSV- files can be directly processed by many spreadsheet programs, like Excel or Libre Office Calc. This lets you log your test results permanently and analyze and evaluate them in a spreadsheet application of your choice.

Programming made Easy
Our Qmix Elements software features a powerful script system to automate processes. Programming these scripts does not require programming skills, but is done graphically. All functions can be dragged by mouse click from the script pool to the script editor and configured there in a very simple way. Creating Qmix scripts is easy, intuitive and fun.
Build your own Qmix System
The QmixElements device configurator lets you create your own device configurations. Would you like to remove a module from your Qmix system or did you expand your system with new Qmix modules? Not a problem, thanks to the Qmix device configurator. Simply drag individual modules from the device list and drop them it into your device configuration. Then start the configuration wizard – simple, fast and intuitive.
Drag & Drop
The device configurator includes a device list showing all supported devices. To create a configuration, simply drag the respective devices from the device list and drop them in the work area with the current configuration. In this way you can simply arrange your individual device configuration.
All your data and settings in one project
The QmixElements project management system lets you save all the data, settings and parameters you configured through the software in a project. All of the important parameters, such as device configuration, device names, dynamic control channels or I/O channel scaling values can be saved in a project. Saved data will be restored when you switch between projects.
This makes it much easier to restore settings of previous projects, archive recorded data or share complete projects and all of their settings with other employees.
neMESYS Plugin for QmixElements Software
Pump Software that is Fun to Use
The neMESYS plugin incorporates all neMESYS syringe pumps into the QmixElements software suite. This plugin provides you with powerful pump features, which you won’t find anywhere else. The clearly laid-out, attractive user interface gives you a good overview of all important parameters, such as syringe filling level, configured syringes, dosing direction, current flow rate, current valve position or the current pressure.
Simple, Intuitive and Powerful
- Graphical display of syringe size, filling levels and valve position
- SI units for volumes and flow rates are freely selectable (ml, nl, ml/s ...)
- The syringe wizard guides you through the configuration of new syringes
- Real-time display of current values, such as flow rate, syringe filling level or dosed volume

Positioning Systems perfectly under Control
The rotAXYS / neMAXYS plugins for QmixElements give you full control over your rotAXYS and neMAXYS positioning systems. The easy-to-use and clearly laid out user interface makes manual positioning easy. To traverse the systems, simply click a position on the screen or click on a container (well, tank) in the graphic display.
The current position of the positioning system, the current configuration of your worktable, including all containers and micro-titer plates as well as all other important parameters are shown to you in a clearly laid out graphical user interface.
Powerful script functions let you master even challenging positioning tasks conveniently through drag&drop. Using this form of graphical programming, you can automate processes without a lot of training.

Precise dosing, creating nanoliter-accuracy fluid streams, conveniently configuring syringe parameters and switching valves – these are just some of the many features this plugin offers for the integration of neMESYS syringe pumps into your Qmix System.
The device configurator lets you create your own device configurations. Whenever you modify your Qmix system, for example when adding new modules, you can use the device configurator to adjust the device configuration in the software by drag&drop.
The rotAXYS and neMAXYS plugins let you control rotAXYS and neMAXYS positioning systems. Using the script functions of this plugin you can quickly and simply create complex automated positioning processes.
The LED-array plugin integrates ceLED arrays into QmixElements. It supports all functions of the LED-arrays and enables the creation of automated irradiation sequences using powerful LED-array script functions.
Whether analog or digital, input or output – this plugin lets you control and visualize all I/O parameters of the Qmix I/O module as well as the Qmix P pressure-measurement module.
The controller plugin expands the QmixElements software suite to include PID-control circuits for the precise control of Qmix Q+ and Q- heating and cooling cycles.
Qmix valve modules with their multiport valves are integrated into QmixElements and the script system using the valve plugin.
The camera plugin enables the integration of numerous different cameras into QmixElements. The plugin supports Firewire 1394 cameras (DCAM standard), various USB cameras and all standard Windows DirectShow cameras, among others.
The versatile features of this plugin include the comfortable adjustment of all camera parameters as well as the recording and storage of camera snapshots.
The video builder plugin lets you quickly create a video from images you recorded in the past, for example time- or script-controlled images from the camera or microscope plugin. In this way you can make time-lapse films of very slow microfluidic processes.
One of the highlights of this system is the integrated, optional de-shaker that reliably removes camera shake from the image material.
This plugin is the perfect addition to the camera plugin. It lets you view and analyze recorded images. Here are some of the highlights:

The QmixElements spectroscopy plugin is our solution for an optimal integration of Qmix Lambda spectrometer modules into the QmixElements software suite. This software lets you

This plugin integrates the innovative 3D input devices made by 3Dconnexion into QmixElements, enabling intuitive, simultaneous and precise control of multiple axes on AXYS positioning systems or micrometer-level control of multiple microscope axes.
