Connecting external Devices and Sensors
The Qmix I/O module can extend any Qmix system to incorporate a multitude of analog and digital input and outputs, making it possible to easily connect external devices and sensors to an existing Qmix setup.
The terminal system of the I/O module lets you connect and remove signal lines very simply and quickly.

All I/O Channels at a Glance

You can load analog sensor values or send analog signals. You can trigger certain processes through external signals or synchronize your process with external devices using trigger signals, thanks to the script system. Do you want to control the flow rate of a pump in real time, using an analog input signal? You can program that too in just a few minutes, through drag&drop.
Recording Sensor Values in Real-Time
Visualize, Analyze, Optimize…
In QmixElements you can record the values of all analog and digital inputs and outputs in the form of curves or CSV-files. This lets you visualize temporal changes of process data or connected sensors (pressure, temperature, etc.) live and in real-time. You can configure the recording through drag & drop and save diagrams in various different formats (PNG, JPG, PDF…). Using CSV-files, recorded measurement values can be analyzed or graphically processed conveniently in Excel or any other analysis program of your choice.

The QmixElements software is a comprehensive, plugin-based, modular software solution for the control of all cetoni devices via a common graphical user interface. The software consists of a core that provides the basic features and services, such as the application window, the event log or the tool bar.

You can read analog inputs of Qmix I/O modules, analog pressure measuring inputs of the Qmix P modules or the analog inputs of neMESYS syringe pumps with one uniform interface used across all devices – the analog I/O library. All functions are supplied through a Windows DLL (32-bit / 64-bit), enabling simple and inexpensive integration into any 32 or 64-bit Windows development environment supporting the use of DLLs.

The LabVIEW kit lets you integrate the Qmix SDK analog I/O library into your LabVIEW environment with minimal effort. You will be provided with a selection of finished VIs to access analog inputs and outputs of Qmix modules.

If you want to work with digital input and outputs, the digital I/O library is the perfect solution for you. The Qmix SDK is a powerful software package that allows developers to integrate their Qmix system and its various modules into their applications. Central to the Qmix SDK are device-specific libraries that provide the programming interface (APIs) for each Qmix module (neMESYS pumps, rotAXYS and neMAXYS positioning systems, Qmix IO, etc.).
